Where We Work

Terkel Scholar provides private chef and culinary services across four distinct markets. Each is served with the same standard of discretion, quality, and personal attention. Engagements are relationship-led and available on a limited basis in each location.

Martha's Vineyard

Private chef services across the Vineyard during the high season and year-round for primary households. We work in Edgartown, Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, Chilmark, Aquinnah, Menemsha, and West Tisbury. Engagements include in-home dining, seasonal estate support, executive retreats, and hosted gatherings for island-based clients and their guests.

Nantucket

Private chef and culinary services for seasonal estates and year-round households across Nantucket, including Siasconset, Wauwinet, Madaket, and the town center. We support private residences, owner-occupied estates, and confidential leadership convenings held on-island.

Palm Beach & Miami

Year-round and seasonal private chef services for primary residences, waterfront estates, and private club engagements in Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and across Miami including Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, and Miami Beach. We serve households with estate managers as well as principals who coordinate directly.

New York City

Private chef and culinary services for primary residences, penthouse households, townhouses, and executive engagements across Manhattan, including the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Tribeca, and surrounding neighborhoods. We also support board-level dinners, family office gatherings, and confidential working sessions for New York-based principals.

Many clients work with Terkel Scholar in more than one location as their calendar moves. We are familiar with the logistical realities of managing culinary services across seasonal households and can support continuity across markets when needed.

Engagements are intentionally limited to preserve quality and trust. Names, locations, and engagements are never shared publicly. All inquiries are handled personally.
